Q: I am really excited about diablo 3, and just about the only thing like diablo 3 I can think of to keep me occupied is diablo 2.
But then I heard about this, and its supposed to be a good game. But whatsmore worth the money Diablo 2 or this?
(I havnt actually played any games of this style before BTW)

I've never played Diablo 2, but I have played Sacred 2 and enjoy it.
Since you have never played this type of game before, I'd recommend getting the free demo version of Sacred 2 and try it out. (why spend the money if you don't have to?)
A2:
In terms of gameplay, I would recommend D2 but D2 is really, really old now and the graphics is sprite based, so you get the drift.
Sacred 2 is above average but not great when it comes to ARPGs.
You should probably look at Titan Quest , it has gameplay mechanics like D2 and 3D graphics like Sacred 2.
